                                           The Starfish Story

One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean. Approaching the boy, he asked, “What are you doing?” The youth replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.” “Son,” the man said, “don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can’t make a difference!” After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said…” I made a difference for that one.”

Such a great little helper! It was so funny watching him walk around the store like a “big boy” but unfortunately he has the same luck as I do with carts and ended up with the one that keeps wanting to go the opposite way you want it to go. So I ended up having to run ahead of him to stop the cart from crashing into people! I love that he always wants to do things himself, hopefully he keeps that mentality and grows to be very independent! =)

My little one with my niece…she’s here everyday during the week, so these two keep each other company. They both love being in front of the camera, can you tell?!

I had my sisters baby shower at a park this weekend. This is a photo I caught of my two boys relaxing on a blanket under a tree. They get along so well together being that they’re 10 years apart.
